What started as a passion project in 2005 has blossomed into a true family business, built on a foundation of professionalism, accountability, and a deep love for bringing people together through music.
Born and raised in Mississippi, Josh was steeped in blues and jazz from his early years. After studying music in college and spending three years in Texas directing church choirs, musicals, and performing classical and rock music, Josh found a home in Madison, Wisconsin. In 2005, Josh founded Piano Fondue with his friend and music partner, Chris Lange, and has now spent over twenty years and thousands of performances perfecting the high-energy show Piano Fondue is known for today!
Since 2014, Piano Fondue has been owned and operated by the husband-and-wife team of Josh Dupont and Francie Phelps, and currently employs over 20 dedicated musicians, technicians, and support staff.
Francie Phelps, a Madison native, has shared the stage with legends like Freedy Johnston, Butch Vig and Duke Erikson of Garbage, Ben Sidran, Dan Navarro, and Michael Massey. Her voice is powerful, raw, and electrifying. When she steps in on a Dueling Pianos Show her vocals take the experience to another level, and the Duo Show that she and Josh have put together is truly something spectacular.
